    As BLM protesters win a court verdict that their detention by Avon and Somerset Police was unlawful we speak to both the activists involved and a barrister representing them. We have an interview with Phil Chamberlain, who is an expert in police and the media to find out about the ongoing Inquiry into Undercover Policing.     Samy Lendvai-Karmout grew up in Gaza. He talks with Tin Hinson about the occupation, violence, resistance and international solidarity with the Palestinian cause. Recorded the day after large demonstrations were held in Bristol against the Israeli Defence Force's latest assault and the ongoing occupation. As Bristol City Council attempts to shut down strip clubs Kiran Khatra speaks to a dancer, Margot, who says that it's wrong to blame patriarchy on provocative women. We speak to Lana Crosbie about schools reopening. We have a report on how £50m got added to the bill for the rebuilding of the Bristol Beacon and we speak to Marcus Smith about his new documentary for the Bristol Cable on the phenomenon of vaccine hesistancy.     01/03/21 Council Budget and Waste Processing

    This was the week that the council published it's £420m budget for 2021/22. We have digested the numbers and sat through the zoom calls so you don't have to. We also spoke to Carla Denyer from the Greens, as well as Nicola Bowden Jones from Labour who buth submitted budget amendments. However, after a decade of austerity was there actually much room for disagreement between councillors? Is the real action in the huge private sector partnerships that didn't grab the headlines? At the end we spoke to Simon Holmes from St Philips Marsh Nursery school who is objecting to plans to build a waste processing plant just metres from his nursery. But is an industrial estate an appropriate place for a nursery school? With Tin Hinson (@tinhinz88) and Rohan Roy (@riderz_of_rohan)
