Loved this.

I wish this was longer. I fully enjoyed the entire program, although I did find it a bit difficult to keep the male characters straight until about halfway through. I had to look on the website to figure out the relationships.

Also, who the feck opened the gates???

Gentle satire

At it’s core, this is a warm hearted gentle satire about life in a small Irish village. Although Brexit, xenophobia, and lying politicians are on the mind and roundly mocked, the show is really about poking fun at the neuroses and antics of its lovable idiosyncratic characters. In particular I love Garda Nugent, whose dedication to solving petty crime is at Hot Fuzz levels, and Barb, whose American overconfidence and mercenary instincts are hilarious. I would happily spend more time with this cast of characters.

Right on Time

Perfect amount of levity and wit for these troubled times... bumpered by Brexit and Trump.
