    As we say GOODBYE to 2020 and HELLO to 2021, I'd like to ask about what good has come from this past year? What are 5 good things or memories that you have from 2020? What are you looking forward to in 2021? Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Be mindful in your holiday moments. Set aside your to-do lists for a few minutes to be in the moment with your child(ren) and your family.  What can you do to be mindful in your holiday moment? Here are a few things: play a game look at Christmas lights bake cookies read a Christmas book ask your kiddos about what is important to them and what they like most about the holidays make your neighbor a card Well, Vicki has no script or outline in this episode because she is speaking from the heart.  Up for the challenge?  ~ Find 5 good things or memories from 2021 ~ Be mindful in the holiday moments...     Are you FEELING the holiday STRESS?? We have ten great ways to refresh and keep your sanity through the holiday season. We all struggle to slow down during the busy season but it is a must so you can enjoy more and stress less! My dear friend, Terri Hinojosa, and I did the most fun time while discussing how YOU can find peace and balance through the holiday season.  We got real about real life, our challenges, and what we do to help find balance.  1.  Start your day with gratitude 2. Create 3. Keep your social media to a minimum (we've talked about this in episode 1) 4. Get outside and enjoy some fresh air 5. Say No! 6.  Create a space just for you. Yep, that's right... for YOU! 7.  A diffuser or aromatherapy will help you relax 8.  Find time to do something for someone else :) 9.  Spend some time nurturing your talents and your dreams 10.  Let go of negativity and take a deep breath. With the right tools, what changes would you want to create in your life.  Who am I? My name is Vicki. I live near Austin, TX with my husband and my children. I’m a therapist, school counselor, & lifestyle coach. Most importantly, I have the great opportunity to be the mom of 5 amazing kids which include 4 children that share my DNA and 1 outstanding son-in-law. I also have some very snuggly fur-babies that I’m sure I’ll tell you all about. I am SO excited to tell you a bit more about me, how I got here today, and the challenges & FEARS leading up to it. We will have great guests who will share their story, learn tips & tricks of busy “mom-ing,” and learn new tools and strategies that will help you get control back of your busy day.
