I’ve been vegan almost 2 years now, and I’ll never go back. There are so many reasons to choose this lifestyle, but the number one reason is because of the needless exploitation of other sentient beings. It was wrong when we did it to other humans, and it’s wrong to do it to thinking, feeling, perceiving animals as well. The difference is that they don’t have a way to stand up for themselves, they don’t have a voice. People like Joey give them a voice. Ongoing human activism is the only hope they will ever have to ever be free from cages and systematic slaughter. Keep doing what you’re doing Joey. You remind me almost every day that I should be doing more. Every generation of animals that suffer are a generation that we failed to save from horror. I’m beside you brother.
