Episode 408: Shot in the Arms

On the latest installment of the CavsCorner Podcast, we spend the first part of the show focusing on UVa baseball as Damon explains what went wrong for the Hoos at the start of the year and what’s gone right for them lately as the home stretch arrives this week. Then, after introducing our new sponsor Andy Luedecke from MyPerfectFranchise.net, we circle back to football for a few to break down where things stand coming out of spring ball.

    Episode 405: Chaos For Everyone

    Episode 405: Chaos For Everyone

On this week’s episode of the CavsCorner Podcast, we rejoin spring football conversations already in progress. The big news of the week of course was the ACL injury to Lavel Davis, a topic which is both timely and also a long-term one for the Wahoos (and certainly for this podcast). From there we work our way through the rest of the offense and then the defense before discussing the transfer portal and the bigger questions looming for the roster. And speaking of the portal, a former UVa hoops target is leaving another ACC school and fans are keenly interested in how that one turns out. That one definitely warranted a conversation, too.

Best UVA football & basketball podcast, period.

Guys,
Well done. I don’t miss episodes. Great analysis, fun commentary and simply put just heart from the 3 of you. Your podcast with Tony Covington made me very emotional. What a powerful message about how much ground we still need to cover to be equal in the USA. It’s the best podcast I’ve listened to and I fly a UVA flag outside my house in Nashville, TN everyday. Black Lives Matter!!! Thanks for the great listen every week and for trying to make a difference. Go Hoos!

A Must-Listen for UVa Sports Fans

I started listening to Brad’s podcasts after finding myself frequently turning to Cavs Corner during this year’s Men’s Basketball Nat’l Championship run. I’m always blown away by how much Brad, Dave, and Justin know, notice, and remember (about men’s basketball, in particular). I learn so much from them...I’ve been a UVa sports fan for over 40 years but they bring such fresh knowledge and insight. I’ll be looking for their insight on football (they’ve already started analyzing the upcoming season)...only wish there was some coverage of women’s sports 😏.
