Open source is at a crossroads

Open source is at a crossroads

This week we’re joined by Steve O’Grady, Principal Analyst & Co-founder at RedMonk. The topic today is the definition of open source, the constant pressure on the true definition of the term, and the seemingly small but vocal minority that aim to protect that definition. Real tech news for developers

This podcast is a one stop shop for very relevant updates in the tech ecosystem. It lives up to it’s name by being a changelog on the industry itself. Great show!

Used to be fantastic!

Idk what happened to this show it used to be consistent episodes, they used to be relevant, on point, to tech stack deep dives, new technologies, etc. Now it’s a random schedule with the relevant stuff dwindled down into an 8 min news update and some boring interviews like once a month…

awesome

Informative with a nice structure!

and it’s perfect to listen in the shower :p
