    Nina-Symone Williams

    Temple volleyball freshman Nina-Symone Williams joins the show to talk about how she spent her quarantine learning to sew and making face masks for friends and family. That quickly turned into a small business selling cloth masks while the nation saw a national shortage. We also got a little into how the volleyball team has been able to have constructive conversations during a time of civil unrest and what the fall will look like with Temple's spring season being postponed to the spring as a result of the pandemic.

Saturday June, 6, a group of student-athletes led a Black Lives Matter peaceful protest from the corner of Broad Street and Cecil B. Moore all the way to City Hall joining a larger protest downtown. The two talk about what it meant to them to be able to be apart of something so monumental and important.
