We are a podcast out of Binghamton, NY. We are four dudes who grew up together watching/talking/arguing about movies. We generally discuss four films of a particular genre, some famous movements and other unifying themes of our own invention.

    In this episode we conclude our discussion of film noir with Howard Hawks' "The Big Sleep" and Edwin L. Marin's "Nocturne," both released in 1946. Through these films we discuss the sexual disfunction of the noir detective and the self reflective voyeurism inherent in the genre.
