Join us as we discuss how the journey through three olympics has shaped our guests views on sport and sport coaching.
-
S3 Ep 2: Conceptualising Sport Coaching (& Biscuits)
We are joined by Professor John Lyle, Dr. Jamie Taylor and Andy Burns to explore and establish a shared understanding of what sport coaching is, and what it isn't. We may not have conceptualised sport coaching but we certainly enjoyed navigating the complexity and ambiguity which perhaps get in the way of doing so.

Give this a listen
If you’re a coach who wonders about the science and academic side of what you do, this is your podcast. I’m a huge fan after listening to the first 4 eps and Two beer minimum reviews. Brilliant idea as I’ve often left a pod thinking, “I’d love to know what the host is thinking here.”
The episode on What to do with Social Media was the most civilized conversation on internet beefs I’ve ever heard. It should be mandatory listening for those who could be referred to as Karen’s or Chad’s. Seriously good insight into conflict resolution and how to speak to one another on Twitter without starting a civil war.
Give this a whirl and you won’t be disappointed.
