    On this week's episode, we dive into therapy in various settings and how the body keeps score. Traditional talk therapy is often viewed as the only modality to therapy, but emerging research in the last 25 years has shown promising results. EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is a promising therapy that has shown results for treating PTSD, anxiety, and panic attacks. Many participants note a cessation in symptoms after a few sessions. The process involves therapist guided eye movements and utilizing bilateral stimulation through headphones or other methods. Similarly, Brain Spotting utilizes therapist guided eye movement to allow the body to naturally process and heal.
