#60: Renee King - Fractal Courage. Healing from Trauma, TBI, Suicidal Ideation, and Imposter Syndrome

Renee King, a mother, business owner, and aspiring author, shares her transformative journey through abuse, suicidal ideation, and a catastrophic car crash in 2019 to finding new purpose and happiness. The crash led to a traumatic brain injury and significant memory loss, causing her business to collapse. Renee described her recovery process, including a self-imposed sabbatical in 2023, where she practiced daily acts of courage and creativity. She emphasized the importance of self-care, support networks, and the concept of "fractal courage" in overcoming challenges. Renee is now writing a book titled "Fractal Courage" to help others navigate their own recovery journeys. Renee King discusses her journey of overcoming imposter syndrome while writing her book, which aims to empower women to prioritize self-care. She emphasizes the importance of trying new things and challenging oneself, even in mid-life. Despite her initial fears, Renee highlights the significance of sharing personal stories to inspire others. She plans to launch her book in November and will host workshops and tours to support trauma recovery through journaling and painting techniques. Renee encourages reaching out to communities for support and reassures that everyone has the tools within them to heal and grow.   Connect with Renee at: Renee@fractalcourage.com Renee@canvasinteriors.org www.fractalcourage.com   Thank you for listening to The Constant Quest Podcast with Tine and Taylor.
