The Conversation Podcast is just that— lighthearted yet honest conversations between Adam and his guests as they talk about how to make a difference with your life (while still having a life). Whether you're walking through an un-pretty part of being human, striving to become a better leader, or you’re trying to figure out what it looks like to follow Jesus everyday, you’ll know that you’re not alone!
Adam Weber is the founder and lead pastor of Embrace, a church based out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He is also an author and speaker whose books Talking with God and Love Has a Name have inspired many to deepen their faith and leadership journey. Rough Cut Thought #4: You’re Not That Important
This fourth episode of the Rough Cut Thoughts series.
This week’s thought: You’re not that important… but you do have infinite worth.
Both parts are true. You (and I) are not that important. The world doesn’t revolve around us. No one needs to metaphorically kiss our rear. But again, we do have infinite worth.
Which of these two parts do you need to hear? Listen in.

Rough Cut Thought #3: People Doing Stuff Don’t Have Time to Criticize Others
This third episode of the Rough Cut Thoughts series.
This week’s thought: People doing stuff don’t have the time to criticize others!
Go ahead and read that sentence again. If you’re a person who is doing stuff, you probably know exactly what I mean. Don’t know what I mean? Maybe that means you’re playing things too safe.
My hope is that this thought will encourage some of us and challenge others. Listen in.

Episode 258 - Wisdom to live by with Wired Magazine’s Kevin Kelly
On today’s episode of The Conversation, I am joined by leading technology thinker and the founding editor of Wired Magazine, Kevin Kelly.
Kevin is a self-proclaimed radical optimist and hoarder of quotes on life advice. Over the years, he has compiled his favorite pieces of wisdom (particularly things he wished he had known when he was younger) and on his 68th birthday, he gifted what he’d written down to his young adult children. The results went viral so Kevin published his writings as a book so the world could benefit from what he’s learned.
His advice ranges from finding lost items around your house to attending funerals (my personal favorite) and just about everything in between!
Grab a copy of Kevin’s book here.

Episode 257 - Ken Costa on the Need for Friendship in Today’s World
In today’s conversation, I sit down with Ken Costa, a leading global investment banker and philanthropist, about his new book in which he wrote about how the transfer of wealth (in the amount of $100 trillion!) from the Boomer generation to Gen Z will revolutionize capitalism.
And while this is certainly important, we talk about something that matters even more - friendship.
In a world where mental health and isolation are on the rise, Ken (a baby-boomer himself) says “building friendships is one of the most vital and sustaining requirements for a maturing generation.”
We also talk about the importance of learning from people of all ages as well as connecting people to others.
Ken is an amazing thought leader with a wealth of knowledge and wisdom to share.

Episode 256 - Minnesota Viking Harrison Phillips on The Moments That Shaped Him
In today’s conversation, I got to connect with Harrison Phillips, defensive tackle for the Minnesota Vikings.
We talk about some important moments in Harrison’s life that have shaped him into the man he is today. From how he started following Jesus to why he started a foundation called Harrison’s Playmakers for young people with special needs.
On the night it was announced that he was the 2023 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award Nominee, Harrison walked into a room of 200 family, friends and young people who have been helped by his foundation cheering him on, which he describes as “one of the coolest moments of my life.” (Watch the video here).
Harrison’s encouragement to make an impact is a must listen!

Fantastic topics
Great topic and fantastic guests! This truly is a must listen to podcast!
Gross
This guy is such a hack
Hailey Peters podcast
First it’s really gross that a church is doing a money giveaway for following both accounts. And the fact that you support Hailey, who is a scammer, liar and hit her infant on a live broadcast makes you just as bad as her. Terrible podcast to boot.
