    JUCO Battle — the Coca-Cola Challenge between Co-Lin and SMCC, live on location at Southwest Mississippi Community College

    A special episode of The Corner Blitz is live at the SMCC baseball field for an MACCC double-header between Co-Lin and Southwest. SMCC athletic director Ken Jackson stops by, along with Enterprise-Journal sports editor Parker Gilliam, and McComb Coca-Cola Bottling Co. area manager Josh Boyd.     Eatin' Fairy Food — Co-Lin Tennis Coach Tripp Case and the Wolves and She-Wolves, live at The Fit Life Sports Plex

    On this week's Corner Blitz, we get to know the great and powerful Co-Lin tennis team. The Lady Wolfpack just finished their regular season as runners-up in the Region 23 Championship, and they're all going to nationals in South Carolina. The men's team is about to embark on their Region Tournament journey tomorrow (April 16, 2026). Head coach Tripp Case brings Nikoloz Gurgenidze, Jax Legget, Allie Grace McNeill and Clara Barton Calcote to talk about his teams (that makes Jax and Allie Corner Blitz two-timers). Guest host Bill Wallace and Adam Northam also preview local high school baseball and softball playoff matchups and review all the recent attempts by the president and the NCAA to get a handle on eligibility and the endless lawsuits.     The Littlest Champions — the Southern Mississippi Titans youth football league, live at the Fit Life Sports Plex

    An entire national championship coaching staff, crammed in the K106 studio on a special edition of The Corner Blitz. Coach Daniel McGaffaney (Coach Mookie) of the Southern Mississippi Titans is on the show with all his coaches to celebrate their 10U team's national championship win out in Arizona earlier this year. Brad and Adam also hate on college football playoff expansion, hate on the SEC for laying the groundwork for the elimination of the SEC Championship Game, and do a fact check on Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry's promise to institute smaller, performance-based coaching contracts at LSU (hint: it didn't happen).     Gettin' Skinny — McComb flag football coach Robin Bonds, with Lady Tigers Gabrielle Poole and Destiny Bennett, live at the Fit Life Sports Plexw

    In the second year of girls' flag football in Mississippi, the league has expanded from 12 to 50 (or so) teams statewide and the MHSAA is slowly taking over from the NFL. The McComb Lady Tigers are one of the dozen OG teams. On this week's Corner Blitz, we hear from them — assistant coach/athletic trainer Robin Bonds is on the show, with senior Gabrielle Poole and sophomore Destiny Bennett. Benji, Brad and Adam also talk about the need to pay NFL officials whatever they want to make the game not suck, prepare for high school tennis playoffs and give free publicity counseling to Tiger Woods (if he wants it).     Squeeze it all out — new Brookhaven Aca. girls basketball coach and AD Alissa Adams, live at the Fit Life Sports Plex

    There are a bunch of local high school basketball coaching jobs open in Southwest Mississippi this spring, and we doubt any of the hires made henceforth will be as big as Brookhaven Academy snagging Alissa Adams to lead the girls' program and serve as athletic director. On this week's Corner Blitz, we catch up with Alissa and talk about her days from ASC to West Lincoln to Southwest to BA, and try to get the temperature of her plans for Lady Cougars basketball. Benjie, Brad and Adam also talk about Tiger Woods playing fake golf, robot ball-and-strike calls in major league baseball, and sing the praises of NIL's effects on March Madness. On this week's Corner Blitz, brand-new Bogue Chitto football coach Brandon Mancuso stops by to talk about his life as a coach-in-training, playing and working for a title-winning coach father, and his plans to get the Bobcats up to speed for 2026. Benjie, Brad and Adam also talk about BA making a big hire with Alissa Adams as the new girls basketball coach, go over some archery South State results, and argue about Bob Segar.     Panic Mode — MHSAA officials McNair Smith and Bull Moose Johnson, live at the Fit Life Sports Plex

    On this week's Corner Blitz, we get the inside scoop on officiating from longtime local officials McNair Smith and Edward "Bull Moose" Johnson. The MHSAA continues to fight a years-long shortage of officials (we are around 1,500 short statewide), so McNair and Bull lay out the case for getting involved and making a little spending money. We also get them to tell a few stories from their officiating careers, each of which is approaching the 50-year mark.     Might as Well Run Track — Amite Co. track and field coach Kristie Robinson and gold medalists Kyran Magee and Zykeria Blackman, live at the Fit Life Sports Plex

    Here's a group that always wins state championships — the Amite Co. High School Trojans, who boast track and field rosters bigger than many football teams. Head coach Kristie Robinson is on The Corner Blitz this week, along with junior Kyran Magee, a 2025 state title winner in the 300M Hurdles; and Zykeria Blackman, a 2025 state title winner in the 4x100M Relay. Benji, Brad and Adam also get into the New Orleans Saints' slightly better cap situation, the proliferation of college jersey sponsorship, and make a brief foray into Radiohead songs.
