Vocation for the Average Joe

This show is an inspiring and relieving oasis of creativity every week.

I’m a worship pastor, and one of the things that informs much of my ministry is the ability for every person’s vocation to be an outlet of worship and ministry. Taking the everyday, ordinary things of our lives, no matter how mundane or individualistic, and framing them as the gifts God has given us for our benefit and his glory is a message everyone needs to hear. When we’re in a world that tells us we have to be the best all the time, the community of artists that this podcast provides, who share the struggle we all go through to the make our craft, whatever it may be, better, is an uplifting gift that images the Kingdom of God around us so much better than anything we can ever be sold through the mainstream media.

God bless you, Blake Flattley, for Communion Arts and for your desire to see worship given back to the people by God’s gracious gifts.
