Are you a crafter and artist that loves to hear what makes other creatives tick? Do you want to learn ways to boost your creativity? Like to learn insider tips on taking your creative practice to the next level? Then this is the podcast for you!
My name is Tania Ahmed and welcome to The Craftermath, a podcast about creativity, art and craft – which is basically my excuse to talk about the things I love with the people I admire!
There will be new episodes every fortnight (plus some bonus episodes) and we will have special guests joining us sharing their experiences.
This is the podcast that I wish was around 10 years ago when I was starting out and didn’t have a clue on where to start in the art and craft industry. I had so many questions and this podcast is my way of sharing my insights, and experiences with you!

Drew has enjoyed working with his hands and being creative from a young age. He has a university degree in graphic design and has worked in the profession for 25 years. Drew is an avid knitter, photographer, and traveler. He currently lives in Cincinnati with his partner Greg and their Schnauzer Fred. I am thrilled to announce that I am teaching for the fourth time on Wanderlust 2024, an online year long art journaling course with 49 mixed-media lessons, all downloadable and yours to keep forever. Plus handouts, a creative community, and a whole bunch of bonuses which are available as soon as you sign up. Course starts January 5th 2024. The first 2000 adventurers get the early bird price of $99 so hurry and book your place today, as places sell out fast!
I had the pleasure of interviewing Kasia Avery, the cofounder of Everything Art and host of Wanderlust in this candid episode where she shares her art "origin story" and how Everything Art came into being!
Capturing the moment and sensations is everything to Kasia - her language is art. She paints, collages and art journals to figure out her past, present and future. She scribbles, spills, tears, paints and writes to let the emotions out. She asks questions and works out her answers through colour, texture, patterns and dynamic connections between contradictions. Kasia's work is a perfect reflection of her everyday reality - the colours and subjects reveal the connections that she makes between her past and now.
Kasia has taught mixed-media in-person and online since 2011. Kasia runs Everything Art Ltd together with her husband Jamie.
