A Well Purposed Woman ,

Encouraging and Genuine

This episode was perfect for where I am
right now. Just a good reminder of what is truly important in the work we are doing. Whether our numbers are going up or down, it is important to not validate ourselves or work by them. What a good reminder that these numbers represent actual people. Thanks for sharing from your experience so helpful for newbies like me!

Encouraging, relaxing, and so fun

I have already listened to the episodes multiple times! :) I love Marian and Shaunna’s conversations. They have so much fun together and it makes listening to the podcast feel like your own friends are there to encourage you. The whole concept for the podcast is really unique and I am finding it very helpful. Can’t wait to take the class on their website!

Can’t get past “you knows,” you know?

Yes, I know the concept of not saying anything if you can’t be positive, but a little constructive criticism can actually help sometimes. So I’ll start with the good. The topics are of interest and the insights are good. The authors are interesting creatives with much to share.

But... the “you knows” are overwhelming. I have found myself repeating ‘you know’ every time it occurs. Since that’s about every 15 seconds, I find myself wishing for an editing app that would remove them.

I’m not sure if this is just normal, unaware speech for this author, or if there is a bit of nervousness at work. I gave it some time, hoping it would vanish, but I feel compelled to ask the podcasters to take a listen themselves.
