Ep. 197 – Bacurau
The real villainy in this world belongs to the corrupt politicians and systemic discrimination leveled at local and marginalized populations at the mercy of enormous capitalistic systems. Or, you know, the hired hitmen (and women) looking to scratch a sociopathic itch. So let’s buckle in for a nice cathartic tale.

Ep. 196 – Man Bites Dog

Good podcast
This is definitely a great podcast. The hosts are knowledgeable and enjoyable to listen to. A large number of the films covered are less well known which is pretty unique.
Amateur
The guy who goes by “Dr. Z” really doesn’t have a clue. He makes Game of Thrones references when discussing great works of cinema, it’s so cringe. Please, you are not smart enough to be doing this, that’s not your fault but someone needs to tell you that!
Shallow insights
Listened to the episode on Personal Shopper looking for some perspective and found nothing resembling analysis or thoughtful critique.
