Plus, Mercury goes Retrograde 11/9-29, making it an extra strong opportunity to revisit past choices and see if a different direction is the right way to go. Yin Fire inspires quick thinking, attention to detail, devotion to close companions, inspiration, thoughtfulness, and kindness. It can also be unstable, untrusting, fickle, gullible, needy, and delusional. Notice when you are flickering like a candle in the wind and when you are a strong steady flame that allows those around you to relax and focus on the task at hand. Pig energy can be hyper-focused, optimistic, and honest. They have a way of retaining their childlike enthusiasm and innocence for their entire lives, unless someone takes advantage of them. Then they become guarded and suspicious of everything. Their generous nature belies their natural talent at making (and keeping!) money. Card of the Month: #16, Enthusiasm Find your level of self-expression and confidence and use it to inspire others. This "Illumined Presence" allows for creativity to come through in art, dance, poetry, and music. Be careful if you find yourself getting addicted to the praise and adoration of others, though. You'll lose that spark and burn yourself out trying to do even bigger and more grandiose things to keep trying to impress others. Clarifying Cards: #61, Inner Truth, focus line 5 Our intuition will be heightened this month, but notice when it's being filtered through lenses gifted to us by society, our groups, and media. Use this inner knowing when you are interacting in the public sphere, checking to see if your attitude is adding value or creating more friction. #33, Retreat, focus line 1 Timing is everything. You may have missed out on the first opportunity, but creating drama around it is unnecessary. Take a step back, reevaluate your direction, and leave when the current situation is no longer supportive. #9, The Taming Power of the Small, focus line 1 This month it will pay to have increased self-restraint, and to channel your inner scout to "Always Be Prepared". We may find that minor impediments and snafus will require resourcefulness and adaptability. Life may not be giving you what you want, but you will be provided with what you need.
