S2 EP11 - Randy Hetrick | From Navy Seal Commander To Entrepreneur & How "Extraordinary" is a Synonym for Hard

In this Episode, we welcome Randy Hetrick. Randy Hetrick, a former Navy Seals Special Operations Commander retired after 14.5 years of service to seek the challenge of graduating with his MBA from Stanford, where he then formulated his business plan to launch what we know today as TRX. I love training with a TRX, I love learning from leadership cues within our Military, and from the creativity behind entrepreneurial stories. Randy shares his story regarding all three topics in our time together today. His grace and grit shines in our podcast and I assure you this episode is a must listen if you want to learn more about how to manage momentum during adversity stricken times, about how humility breeds a beginner's mind, and why Randy's relationship with challenge continues to evolve. #CuriousCompetitor________________________________________________________________________FOLLOW ALONGIG: https://bit.ly/2TiHuEn @connorcarrickTwitter: https://bit.ly/2GVWdju @connorcarrickYouTube: https://bit.ly/2OJDDl2TikTok: @connorcarrickFacebook: @connorcarrickofficial Music by: Alex Vigneault of "Ready Steady Steroids"

S2 EP10 - Jana Webb | Overcoming Injury Through Yoga, A Life Of Entrepreneurship In Creating Joga & Battling Concussions

Jana and I talk about how she developed as a way to bring equipment free training to the masses. Jana demystifies some of the elements of yoga that can be daunting to people and made the physical and spiritual experience that is Joga more approachable. We also talk at length about her own wellness journey after a severe health scare involving a car accident, on top of the responsibilities still involved with being a single Mom and entrepreneur. She leads with empathy, with passion for Joga's ability to foster holistic growth, while also allowing the universe to work its magic, presenting to Jana the answers she needs when she looks for them. This is one of my favorite podcasts to date, simply great conversation and connection in a time where this is particularly hard to come by. Interested in JOGA? Christian Oliveira ,

Great stuff!

After last week’s episode I really felt compelled to write a review. At the onset of this podcast I was a bit skeptical, as I didn’t need another hockey podcast to listen to. But as time has gone on, Connor has really turned this podcast into a wonderful resource for personal growth and development that transcends the hockey talk. Last week’s discussion on brain dumping intrigued me as I’ve been struggling to sleep, and since I started I’ve been falling asleep a lot easier! There have been lots of little tips like that one throughout this podcast and it’s great to pull those out and try to use them to perform at a higher level in whatever you do. Keep up the solid work!

These episodes are gold. I hope my kids have Connor’s maturity at 26. To that end, I figure playing this podcast for them can’t hurt.
