Angels and Demons Pt. 3 (Chapters 41-60)

This week, Forrest and Lina read chapters 41-60 of Angels and Demons. This time, we're treated to some heart-stopping actions scenes in... a glorified library. As our heroes flirt in thinning oxygen and explain very basic scientific concepts to one another, the clock is ticking for the assassin to finish being as extra as possible. Also, Dan Brown has an opportunity to prove to us how "woke" he is and falls on his face. You can follow us at @DanBrownCodePod on Twitter or find us on Facebook! Angels and Demons Pt. 4 (Chapters 61-80)

Angels and Demons Pt. 4 (Chapters 61-80)

This week, Forrest and Lina read chapters 61-80 of Angels and Demons. The book has gotten very fast-paced, very fun, and very, very gross. Vittoria and Robert manage to flirt in front of corpses, a lot of smart things are flatteringly misattributed to Winston Churchill, and Lina is forced to put down the book several times because of gore. Also, Dan Brown continues to really deliver on the “exposure” he promised his ambigramist instead of payment. “Dunkin’ On Dan” T-Shirts are now available at https://teespring.com/dunkinondan ! Might be better if...

This podcast might be better if they used their critical skills to answer the question, "If Dan Brown's books are so bad, why do they keep on selling?" instead of nit-picking his words line by line, chapter by chapter. I find this approach has a rather limited appeal, whereas their critical thinking skills could be better spent on larger issues. But that might be beyond the scope of this podcast, and asking too much of the hosts. Still, they might want to consider a wider take on Dan Brown's work.

If you’re into millennials who aren’t self-aware you’ll love this…

Basically it’s two friends(?) who hate Dan Brown, but also read every book of his for some reason. They take cheap shots about him taking cheap shots. They go on-and-on about him going on-and-on. It is basically a dude who has a crush on his co-host, poorly hiding it, while they both poorly hide their jealousy over why writers as clearly amazing as themselves aren’t as successful as Dan Brown.

La purga di Dan Brown

This podcast is everything I never knew I always wanted. The hosts are funny and smart af and use both of these things to destroy Dan Brown. As of writing this I’ve only read along with Angels & Demons but I cannot wait to get into everything else.
