    2023 is already being touted as the year that video game adaptions are taken seriously, even when the adaption isn't meant to be serious. In comes the Super Mario Bros. movie spearheaded by the polished animation of Illumination Studios and the controversial casting of its voice talent.     My first Day 1 release of the year, and its a remake of a game I'm in the minority of not really liking: Resident Evil 4. However, since I've been adiment that if they could blend the gameplay and feel of the RE2 remake with Leon's visit to Spain and the lore behind Las Plagas....we might have a winner.     Its been 84 years...or at least its felt like it, since the first Avatar released and promise of sequels were made by filmmaker James Cameron. Now, the tech has advanced to fulfill Cameron's vision for the franchise and the land of Pandora carries on.
