    Abortion Versus the Death Penalty

    Gruesome...But Justifiable?

    Ep 89.  In this week's episode, we talk about a conversation had between Isaac and a woman at a college who turned out to be a signature collector for the radical pro-abortion amendment that will likely be on the ballot his fall.  She supported abortion, despite agreeing that it is gruesome, saying our signs only show "one aspect of abortion."  We'll talk about that and more in this episode.  Come debrief with us!     When Being Human Isn't Enough

    Ep 88.  If you thought being a human was enough to protect you from discrimination, think again!  At least according to this student who Maggie talked to at a high school, you need humanity plus something else: a certain size body!  (We are not sure what size is value-giving, but apparently it's not the size you are right at the beginning of your life.)  Now, how does this fit with human equality?  We're not sure, but we're talking about it in this episode!  Come debrief with us.     The Limits of Free Speech: Why It Doesn't Allow Abortion

    Ep 86.  This may sound crazy, but freedom has limits, and so does free speech!  The uninhibited right to free speech does not allow you to do just anything.  For example, it does not allow you to physically harm or kill others.  Grace had a conversation with a young man who said that people should have the free speech to abort.  Debrief with us as we discuss why that is just not true. Show Notes Atheist Sam Harris said in his book The End of Faith, " Some propositions are so dangerous that it may even be ethical to kill people for believing them." John Stonestreet said on Twitter, "Ideas have consequences.  Bad ideas have victims." Hans and Sophie Scholl and Christoph Probst were part of the White Rose movement in Nazi Germany, who were executed for distributing anti-Nazi leaflets.
