Great show

I love listening to this podcast, I learn about absolutely everything on this podcast including my favorite Superheroes and of course Hamilton, Dr. Bell is actually my uncle

Make Yourself Feel Smarter

This is the perfect podcast for fans of both pop culture and of using the old noggin. Dr. Bell does a great job of introducing complex academic concepts and theories in super palatable and fun ways, and his guests are consistently knowledgeable and engaging. I particularly like how little fan judgement there is on this show. They might talk about what it means to police the borders of fandom; they are also very likely to state their own opinions & passions for various shows/movies/books/games as though they are Fact (yes, professors are fans too!!). But it’s unlikely a listener would walk away feeling like a schmuck for liking what they like. The more likely outcome is that you’ll continue to enjoy your chosen fandom, and you’ll be able to think critically about it too. I’ve loved every show I’ve heard and can’t wait to hear what they do next!

A well intentioned potato ,

Not sure why anyone would listen to this
