EP183: David Funes on Peace Being the Secret to Success

David Funes is an aspiring author and speaker with an incredible story to share. Years ago, David experiences manic episodes due to biopolar disorder. He would struggle to keep his true identity, and was unhinged in some moments in life.
David got a high paying job early in his career and used his high income to party. As quickly as money came in, it was spent even quicker. Looking for dopamine rushes and a break from reality, David found himself going further and further from his purpose.
Soon after, David gt caught up in a business that resulted in the FBI raiding their office and an ongoing trial against David. His professional life has not been the same since that moment.
Instead of choosing the victim mindset and going back into the trap of drugs and partying, David is now choosing to share his story in a positive way. He hopes to inspire the masses and use his story as a testament to needing peace in your life in order to find success.

EP182: Harry Gray Preaches Change Your Food, Change Your Environment, Change Your Life

Harry Gray, aka MeatMafiaHarry is half of the Meat Mafia Podcast, co-founder of Noble Origins, operates a marketing agency and serves as a leader in the Austin community. Harry grew up playing sports and noticed his health begin to change. As he began to invest more into his nutrition, his life began to change. It wasn't until Harry took a leap of faith from his career to move to Austin and dive into entrepreneurship when his life began to change exponentially.
Through Meat Mafia, Harry and his best friend Brett are striving to change the way the world views food. This is not a new fad diet. They are instead simplifying how we look at food, and preach simple, effective options to optimize health.
His next venture was to start a nutirition product. Noble Origins is a grass-fed whey protein complex with liver, heart and collostrum. Noble is delicious and has taken over in Austin, TX.
On top of all of this, Harry and his team operate a marketing agency where they help wellness brands with social media, writing, emails and more.
Harry is also a dear friend of mine and a leader. He leads by example in fitness, as he is currently doing 1,000 step ups every day until he gets 1,000 people to take on the challenge themselves. Harry also helps run a Mens group in Austin, TX where we physically and spiritually challenge ourselves every week, creating a strong brotherhood.

EP181: Connor Meekins on Taking a Leap of Faith and Fulfilling Your Purpose

EP181: Connor Meekins on Taking a Leap of Faith and Fulfilling Your Purpose

Connor Meekins is a nutrition coach and the owner of LionFit. LionFit is a personal transformation company with a primary focus on nutrition coaching, health & fitness insights, and an elevated approach to day-to-day living.
Outside of his work, Connor is a leader in the Austin community. He is someone who influences those around him, leans into his faith, and encourages his community to become the best version of themselves.
In this conversation, we discuss how Connor took a leap of faith from corporate America and a high paying job. In his mid-20's, his leaders at work would applaud him for "making the top 1% for your age". Even though the money and status was great, Connor had a hole in his heart that could not be filled by his current path in life.
Last August, Connor decided to walk away from his job and pursue entrepreneurship. He walked away from a six-figure job, and the only proof he had that this would work was previously earning $500 for a nutrition plan he wrote for someone.
Now Connor is living in his true purpose, established himself as a leader, and has big ambitions to grow even more.
