Karl and team do a great job dissecting abuse and mistreatment of victims. I find the content to be informative. Great guests Love the way they hold all parties accountable that have displayed abuse and used power over regardless of who is the perpetrator of the abuse.

I am no longer religious but I greatly appreciate all that Karl has done for those unsure of where to go after being abused by the church. He has consistently been one of the few male voices to listen to and stand by women who are victims of patriarchal religion. That’s is unfortunately still a rare thing in exvangelical spaces where women still find their voices crushed by big boulders and tiny stones.

Karl and Laura are compassionate people who understand spiritual abuse and religious trauma. They are walking out healing in their own lives while showing true empathy to others who are hurting.

Today we don’t need more people with all the answers, we need father-like figures just like Karl to walk with us, impart wisdom, be proud of us, to encourage us to go even further than his generation. And Karl delivers. I can’t say enough good things about the heart and message behind this podcast. Definitely worth your time and attention. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
