Welcome, Friends. Storytelling has the power to not only create connections but provide universal truths about ourselves and the world. When listening to this podcast, I ask that you honor these stories and the rawness, transparency, and vulnerability that they invoke. Invite them with an open heart and you will see that all stories share a universal message. I pray that each anecdote leaves you inspired to share as the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "It is also charity to utter a good word.” But more importantly, I pray that you allow yourself to find comfort in the good, wisdom in the hardship, and the courage to trust Allah.

A love that is not forsaken

A love that is not forsaken

Iqraa -- Read. This was the first word to be revealed from the Holy Quran. A simple command that can be very difficult to obey. And for Aaliyah this was even more uniquely difficult, as the words of the Quran began to lift, change & morphe before her eyes with no explanation, Aaliyah started to believe she may never be able to read.
In this episode, join her as she opens up about overcoming difficulties and allowing her love for the Quran to flourish.

More consistency

Salam ! I’ve grown to love your podcast but I wish there was some consistency in posting.

This podcast led me straight to Allah swt

I was raised Christian. But definitely lost my faith in Christianity ..so many holes. I met my boyfriend who was Muslim, which made me want to learn more about Islam. I was severely craving Allah’s swt connection but I was so afraid as a “feminist” woman that I would feel oppressed by Islam. I came here not to learn about Islam but but to get a woman’s perspective on the religion. And let me tell you!!!! Cadar’s gifts.. the Digitalsisterhood Team… saved me. I found that being a Muslim woman could be incredibly empowering and peaceful, and I wanted parts. From there, I learned more and more, studied Quran and eventually reverted. Haven’t been the same since. Needless to say, thank you.
