Episode 232 Your Ad Dashboard Is Lying To You! Here's Why

What if the numbers you trust most are sending you in the wrong direction? If you trust platform-reported results without testing them, you may optimize spend around the wrong metrics and miss what actually drives customers. Join Brad Friedman and Justin Rashidi as they explore data-driven marketing, digital ads, and Justin's uniquely scientific approach to marketing so you can make better measurement decisions, allocate budget more intelligently, and improve results. If you have ever made marketing decisions based on surface-level metrics, this conversation will challenge how you measure success and help you focus on what really matters. Justin Rashidi is the founder of SeedX, a consultancy that helps medium to mid-market companies improve performance across data, sales, and marketing. In this episode, he explains how scientific thinking and hypothesis-driven testing can help marketers validate what is really happening inside the business. With a background rooted in science and engineering, Justin brings a rigorous, data-first mindset to modern marketing. He focuses on helping companies separate platform claims from actual business impact so teams can make smarter decisions about attribution, budget allocation, and growth. You Might Also Like: On Purpose with Jay Shetty

Introducing Tim Ferriss: Feeling Stuck Right Now? (Use THIS 10-Minute Exercise to Stop Overthinking and Take Action) from On Purpose with Jay Shetty. Follow the show: On Purpose with Jay Shetty Sometimes we become so fixated on improving our lives that we stop asking a more important question: what actually matters? Jay sits down with Tim Ferriss for something deeper than a discussion on productivity, it’s an exploration of how to live with real intention. Instead of chasing shortcuts or stacking habits, Jay turns the focus inward, examining how our thoughts, emotions, and daily choices quietly shape the life we end up living. Drawing from years of personal experimentation, Tim draws from years of experimentation to reveal a powerful truth: most of what holds us back isn’t a lack of discipline, it’s a lack of alignment, between what we say matters, what we focus on, and how we actually live. Throughout the conversation, Jay returns to a theme he often explores, the tension between achievement and acceptance. In a world that rewards constant hustle and endless optimization, it’s easy to believe we always need to do more, fix more, and become more. Tim opens up about his own struggles with anxiety and obsessive thinking, offering a more grounded view of growth, one that isn’t just about pushing forward, it’s also about knowing when to pause, simplify, and let go of what no longer serves you. In this episode you'll learn: How to Focus on What Truly Matters How to Stop Chasing the Wrong Goals How to Improve Your Life by Subtracting How to Build Better Daily Habits How to Ask Better Questions for Clarity How to Avoid Burnout While Staying Productive How to Break Free from Distractions How to Create Meaningful Progress in Life How to Align Your Actions with Your Purpose Real change often begins with a single shift, paying attention to where your energy goes, questioning what truly matters, and giving yourself permission to slow down when needed. Growth isn’t just about doing more; it’s about doing what’s right for you, with intention. The Trust Recession: Why Prospects Don't Buy Even When They Need You

Your prospects don't care about your solution. They're asking themselves one question—and you're missing it. Join Brad Friedman and Ari Galper as they unpack trust-based selling, the idea of a "trust recession," and how business owners can replace pressure-based sales tactics with a more human, trust-building approach so you can improve conversions without chasing prospects. Ari Galper is a leading voice in trust-based selling and the founder of AriAI, a trust-based AI sales and business growth platform. In this conversation, he explains why traditional selling has become commoditized and why prospects often decide whether to trust you as a person before they ever evaluate your solution. He also shares his "doctor, not pharmacist" mindset, breaks down how to use trust-based language in sales conversations, and explains why many business owners should focus on fixing conversion problems before trying to generate more leads. Ari's work is especially relevant for low-volume, high-margin businesses with longer sales cycles, including advisors, attorneys, consultants, and software sales professionals who need stronger conversations, not just more activity.
