In the first case file of The Disciple Files, I sit down with Pastor Eric Bancroft to lay the foundation for everything that follows. Through Eric's story - from a rough childhood marked by fighting and brokenness to faith, discipleship, and eventually becoming a pastor - we examine the heart of the gospel: who Jesus is, why we need Him, and how His grace transforms us. Before we investigate the stories of changed lives, we have to understand the message the changes them. This is more than Eric's testimony. It's the starting point for The Disciple Files and an invitation to examine the evidence of God's grace for yourself. Every testimony leads evidence. This is Case File 001.
