    Episode #25 | Keenan Allen

    Keenan Allen is arguably the most underrated WR in the NFL. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Chargers in the 3rd round of the 2013 NFL Draft. Since then he was been named to five ProBowls & amassed 1000 yards receiving in five different seasons. After dealing with a knee injury in 2016, he came back and won Comeback Player of the Year in 2017. In this episode we talked about Keenan’s family life, recent wedding, playing college football with his brother, relationship with Snoop Dogg, overcoming injury / adversity, how he learned to master his technique, & why he believes people still aren’t giving him the respect he deserves.     Episode #24 | Aaron Taylor

    Aaron Taylor is one of the best college football players ever. He was inducted into the college football hall of fame in ‘21. Taylor was selected 16th overall to the Green Bay Packers in the first round of the 1994 NFL draft. He played in two Super Bowls with the Packers, winning SBXXXl. During his time in Green Bay he blocked and learned from one of the greatest players to ever play the game, Brett Farve. He earned a second contract with the then ‘San Diego’ Chargers. After battling knee injuries, Taylor stepped away from the game after the 1999 NFL season. Since retiring from football Taylor founded the prestigious Joe Moore Award given to the best offensive line group in college football, the only major award given to a group rather than an individual. In this episode, AT beautifully articulates his incredible story. From getting kicked out of the house at 14 to battling drug & alcohol addiction, Taylor’s story was not without hardship. He vulnerably shares his journey through these valleys, while providing practical wisdom for building resiliency in our own lives.     Episode #23 | Joey Bosa

    Joey Bosa is arguably the best pass rusher in the NFL. Last season alone he recorded seven strip sacks, the most in the NFL. He was selected 3rd overall by Chargers in 2016 NFL Draft. That season he won Rookie DPOY. In his first six seasons, Bosa was been named to four Pro Bowls. He played his college career at the Ohio State University, where he was awarded two consensus all-American nods during his three seasons. In this episode we unpacked Joey’s story with focuses on his nutrition habits, struggles with mental health, & overcoming anxiety + injury.     Episode #22 | Asante Samuel Jr.

    Asante Samuel Jr. is one of the top corners in the NFL. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Chargers in the 2021 NFL Draft. He is the son of former NFL cornerback, Asante Samuel. A native of Florida, Asante played high school football at St. Thomas Aquinas before continuing his college career at Florida State University. In this episode, we talked about his childhood in Florida, the pros & cons of having a dad who played in the NFL, overcoming the stigma of being too short, the importance of his faith, the ups & downs of his rookie season, who he believes are the toughest 5 WRs to play against, & much more!     Episode #21 | Shawne Merriman

    Shawne Merriman is a former NFL All-Pro & ProBowl linebacker for the Los Angeles Chargers. Shawne’s story is another reminder that you don’t have to be defined by your circumstances. He overcame enormous odds to become one of the best pass-rushers the NFL has ever seen. After growing up in Washington, D.C., Merriman decided to stay home & play college ball at Maryland, despite being highly recruited by more prestigious football schools. During Freshman orientation Shawne is famously known for looking his coaches & teammates in the eyes and saying, “I’m playing three years & going pro.” He did just that. Since retiring from the NFL, Shawne has become a successful entrepreneur under the brand “Lights Out” — a nickname he was given after knocking four opponents out in a single high school football game (this was quite the story). He is the founder of Lights Out Extreme Fighting ( @LightsOutXF ), now airing on Fubo Sports. This story gave me chills the entire hour. Enjoy!     Episode #20 | Brandon Staley

    Brandon Staley is the second year head football coach of the Los Angeles Chargers. He is considered one of the brightest young minds in in the game, joining the Chargers in 2021 at just 38 years of age. After an up & down first season, Staley looks to lead the Chargers through a packed AFC West in 2022. Prior to coaching at the Chargers, he coached at three other NFL clubs: Rams, Bears, & Broncos. Before he started his coaching career in 2006, Staley played college quarterback at the University of Dayton (Go Flyers!). In the past ten years, Staley has coached for 8 different programs, both college & NFL. In this episode we talked about how he and his wife, Amy, have managed to raise three boys amidst all the chaos, his battle with Hodgkins Lymphoma, the most important qualities a coach can possess, lessons from year one as a head coach, plus Q&A from fans! After injuries, COVID setbacks, bussing tables to get by, & spending months on the road traveling to qualifying tournaments, Jake’s dream became a reality in 2022.     Episode #18 | Matt Barkley

    Matt Barkley is an NFL Quarterback for the Buffalo Bills. During his nine year NFL career, Matt has played for nine different NFL clubs. Matt was drafted 98th overall by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2013. Before arriving on the NFL scene, Matt started every football game he had ever been apart of. That changed when he was drafted to a team with, now, two SuperBowl winning quarterbacks, Michael Vick & Nick Foles. Off the field, Matt is father to three kids & husband to his kindergarten sweet heart. He is also a Bitcoin maximalist. His first exposure to the cryptocurrency was back in 2016 for less than $1000 per coin. He also bought Ethereum for $30 at that time. Matt has an incredible story of resilience & conviction.
