Five seconds into the the show, and there was a sound byte. FIVE seconds into the show and there was a gimmick sound byte. This show is all over the place but when you’re able to follow, and catch what Jon says it’s really good, very knowledgeable. I listened to Jon on the restoration rundown and the show was good. Just tone it down with the gimmicky sound effects and you’ll have a good show, this would be a 5 star show but the sound bytes drop the quality of the show imo.

Great content and lots of value info to learn from. But most episodes are so hard to listen to with all the special effects and such wish I could listen more often but definitely one of my last resorts due to this reason. Wish it was just a basic flow not so gimmickyish sound effects and trying to be over the top “cool” or “different” keep it simple imo. Keep up the good work on the actual content tho.

So far, I’m loving the content/information, and the casual conversational approach. But Jesus Christ, chill out on the sound byte add-ins. It’s funny…until it happens over and over and over and over, and makes it super frustrating to keep pace with the content. The introduction length is nauseatingly long and over done. Fix that (don’t ditch it, just chill out a bit), keep the humor, and the conversational approach - 5 stars.
