Ep 125: Critical Inquiry into the Past
In today's episode I further discuss taking a critical look into our past. Critical inquiry into anything does not imply judgement of that process or those involved in that process. I circle around this topic and more involving reimagining inner child work.

Ep 123: Amplifying the Inner Persecutor
In today's episode I read a section out of Kalsched's book Trauma and the Soul and amplify it with a scene from Harry Potter in the Order of the Phoenix in which Harry becomes possessed by Voldemort.
To watch the visual of the scene, go to: https://youtu.be/oQISw4NDHVA
This scene symbolizes an archetypal dynamic in an experience of trauma in which a figure associated with darkness tries to create an ego identification and a negative feedback loop of shame and dissociation.

Ep 122: The Transcendent Function
In today's episode I circle around one of Jung's concepts called of the transcendent function. This is when there is an attempt to bring the conscious and unconscious into communication and dialogue with each other.
The transcendent function requires a shaking up of the conscious attitude, meaning a relativization of the "I" to the mysterious unknown of the unconscious.

Brilliance is refreshing
I recently came across Dr Danielle McGinnis and have been immersing in her podcasts and content because I feel like I’ve found a kindred spirit. More so, it’s refreshing to listen to her brilliance in a world where messages are dummied down into entertainment bite-sized chunks. Dr Danielle’s ability to synthesize content and share in an understandable manner without losing its depth is what amazes me most. Her ability to remember quotes and references is admirable. I like seeing the younger set coming into their own with such intelligence and connection.
Incredible work
Dr. Danielle and her fiancé Rick are incredible. I stumbled across Rick’s Instagram account this past year and his podcast lead me to Danielle’s. They are both hidden gems. Their work is powerful and has and will continue to change lives. Keep up the good work.
Healing and understanding through love
This podcast I found through the Shadow work Library podcast, and it blows me away. Through the lens of love and compassion, Dr Mcginnes teaches self understanding, acceptance and healing. I listen and always learn so much that I can apply in my everyday life and relationships. Thank you Dr Danielle!
