Thank You, Sincerely, Anxious Person
I have been working to establish healthier, less-screen-focused sleep routines, but I find that once the noise and distraction of the day fades out, my anxiety kicks in stronger than ever. Cue: The Empty Bowl. Justin and Dan's soothing voices, the calming intro music, the gently crashing waves, and of course the sweet and joyful subject matter all combine perfectly to help me drift off. It was a month or two into listening before I even heard the end of an episode. Thank you both so much for helping me finally get to sleep and calm my neuroses! Love this podcast and will return to it again and again.
What a joy!
I found The Empty Bowl searching for meditation podcasts. Well, it's not really that ... but it is something all its own. My go-to podcast when anxiety is here. And yeah! I've rediscovered my love for cereal! Thank you Dan and Justin.
Occasionally dream about cereal but is fine
Does this put me to sleep as intended? Yes. Do I wake up hungry and craving Cinnamon Toast Crunch? Occasionally. Do I have less scary dreams? Yes. Do I have more anxiety dreams about running out of cereal? Rarely, but it had happened. Do I love this podcast? Absolutely.
