    88. Express Tip #44: Three Reasons Why New Hires Fail

    Welcome to this week’s Express Tip on the Entrepreneur Evolution Podcast. Today we are talking about why new hires fail in your organization, and guess what… It's not their fault! There are THREE significant reasons why they fail, and it is actually our fault as the leaders and owners of our businesses. But that’s ok, failure is feedback. And when you gain that kind of feedback you grow the most. Sometimes, it’s the hardest situations that help you to grow and make those significant leaps for full awareness in your business. Reason number one is about what they are walking into and what processes and clarity they have in their role. Reason number two is that we are not being objective in our hiring process and we are hiring the wrong person. Often we hire those who speak like us, talk like us, and are more similar to ourselves. I use the Core Values Assessment Index to objectively evaluate how they are wired innately. This tool has been priceless in our team building, hiring, and for iEvolve’s clients. If you haven’t taken it already, reach out and I will make sure you get a copy of that assessment in our breakthrough session. And finally, reason number three is that we are not taking the time to train effectively. They come in and we feel like they are going to be rockstars, magic wands, and save the day in our organization. We really need to take that time to train them, not overwhelm them, and have them take on tasks slowly and effectively leading towards gaining autonomy and long-term employee retention. If you want to take the Core Values Assessment to learn how to build a team around your strengths and weaknesses to really find those traits within you as a leader and identify those organizational gaps - THIS IS THE TIME TO DO IT.     Welcome to this week’s episode of the Entrepreneur Evolution Podcast, and today we are talking about visibility. I’m your host Annette Walter, business growth coach, operational strategist, and growth-minded entrepreneur just like you, growing and scaling my two businesses on the national level. I’m so happy you are here. I’m going to give you some tips on how to increase your visibility online and with social media. Where can you increase your visibility? Where and how can you increase your audience so you are talking to and reaching more people in your tactical posts? Sometimes we are just talking to the same people, and we need to branch out. Go ahead and write down three places you want to be more visible. Think about where you need to be more visible, where you are having success, and where you should be having more success. You need to talk to people outside of your typical audience. Once you have your three areas to be more visible, write three ways you can show up differently for that audience, and three ways you can increase your audience. I have some great ideas behind the scenes if you want to reach out and do a brainstorming session and think about this in your business. If you feel like you are doing this already, perhaps you’re just talking to the same people and they’ve heard it, they're there, they get it. How can you reach more people and gain more visibility?     86. Episode #44: How an Elephant Can Help You with an Identity Crisis in Your Business

    Today’s Express Tip has been a common theme lately in our coaching sessions and in our group masterminds. People, business owners, entrepreneurs, are saying they need the next layer of their organization. But when that next layer of organization is built, what will I do? What will be my identity? So use this illustration to help you understand what your role is as the leader and owner of your company. Picture a huge elephant walking through very tall grass. Grass so tall that the elephant cannot see anything in front of it. There are lots of dangerous things out there unseen, snakes, tigers, and you're just trying to get to the village. You are standing on top of the elephant, and your team is down in the grass with the machetes chopping through the grass so the elephant can walk through it. Halfway up the elephant there are people hanging off it that can see a little bit over the grass, but not the village on the horizon. Your job, sitting on top of the elephant, is to tell them where to go, where they need to chop, where to steer. You are setting the vision and guiding them to where you need to go. Sometimes you go down to the ground to help others, but quickly go back on top of the elephant to steer where you are going. If you haven’t had a chance to jump back on top of the elephant, and you are down on the ground with the machete - get up out of the weeds, that's not your job. When you build those layers below you, when you let go of something in your business, you will see new things.     85. Express Tip #42: Four Tips to Not be a Bottleneck in Your Business

    Welcome to this week’s episode of the Entrepreneur Evolution Podcast. When we have our head down in our business, it’s important to make sure we are trying to see as much as possible. It can be hard sometimes to make sure you are being as efficient as possible, improving your process, and working effectively. So that’s what we’re going to talk about today. I am going to give you four tips to think about when you are feeling overwhelmed, inefficient, or feeling like a bottleneck in your business. Use these tips to help make yourself a little more self aware while you grow out of the weeds and grow your process to function in your genius zone. First, you can automate, think about what softwares you are using. Where can you eliminate by reducing 6 steps into 1 click? Second, is to outsource. Where do you need help on your team and how can you outsource it to make time for other tasks? Third, delegate. What can you delegate to take it off your plate? Lastly, DELETE. Make sure you are deleting things you don’t need, and saying no to events and projects that aren’t a hell yes. Start over and find your real priorities. So look up and pay attention to what’s going on around you. I encourage you to use these four tips. If you haven’t scheduled your session, you are missing out.     83. Express Tip #41 Confused Buyers Do Not Buy

    Welcome to this week’s episode of the Entrepreneur Evolution Podcast. Today’s express tip is about sales. The tip today is that you need to get crystal clear on your pitch and offer. Confused buyers do not buy! What happens sometimes is we get too wordy, bobble-head syndrome, or whatever you want to call it when we go into sales mode. I have a formula for this, we have gone through in all of our groups this week. Get a formula out there that works for you, as a process for your calls. It will give you confidence and structure, and clarity to your buyers because confused buyers do not buy. You need to make sure you are always out there sharing your business, promoting your services, and selling,  ABS, always be selling. If you are having a major issue in your closing process, your call to action, your delivery, your confidence, talking about money, or whatever your discomfort is, I really want you to reach out for help. If this is resonating with you right now, chances are you would really benefit from all of the work we are doing inside our Entrepreneur Evolution Empowerment Group. These are business owners that are building their empire, and really working on these types of things to experience the outcome of gaining more business and feeling better in their business.
