The First Love Project

Dr. Jori Shaffer

The First Love Project Grace Revealed from Genesis to Revelation This devotional series invites hearts — seekers, new believers, and lifelong followers of Christ — to return to our First Love by delighting in God’s Word, one day at a time. From the Law and the Prophets to the Gospels and the Epistles, we pause in every section of Scripture and remember that all of it tells one story of grace. Each short reflection helps us see the character of our God — faithful, holy, patient, compassionate — and calls us to rest, trust, and draw near to Him. Each week we walk through every part of Scripture: • Grace Beginnings — in the Law • Grace Revealed — in the Gospels • Grace for the Heart — in Wisdom & Poetry • Grace for the Journey — in the Epistles • Grace in the Waiting — in the Prophets • Grace That Calls Us to Remember — in the History of God’s people • Grace in the Resting — a quiet day of reflection and abiding Different sections — ONE story of grace. Every page — drawing our hearts back to our First Love. We love because He first loved us. God is love — our Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer — who showed His great love in sending His Son and making a way for us to be brought back to Him. As we hear His Word (for faith comes by hearing), our hearts are gently led back to the One who loved us first. Come walk through the Word with me — one passage, one day, one grace-filled step at a time.
