    The Five Points Takeaway #1

Five Points is a literary journal of poetry, fiction, essays, interviews, and art. The Five Points podcast strives to create discussion beyond the pages of the journal and engage readers with new content. Our current episode debuts our newest segment, The Takeaway, where we answer questions from our Five Points readers and listeners. This episode features a question from Becky Tuch, founder of Lit Mag News and The Review Review, about literary journal rejections and when it’s time to revisit your work.  Join our editor for Five Points, Dr. Megan Sexton; undergraduate intern, L. Davenport; and assistant editor for fiction, Victoria Pitter, as they discuss the ins and outs of rejections and revisions.  Special thanks to Becky Tuch for submitting her question. To feature your question on upcoming episodes of The Takeaway, visit fivepoints.gsu.edu and submit your question through the “Contact Us” page on our website. Selected submissions will receive a Five Points tote bag. Be sure to visit Becky’s Substack at https://litmagnews.substack.com/ for all things literary.  This episode was created with the collaboration of our editor for Five Points, Dr. Megan Sexton; undergraduate intern, L. Davenport; and assistant editor for fiction, Victoria Pitter. Our theme music is provided by The Skylarks.
