The Flick Files

Hello there, and welcome to The Flick Files! We’re three brothers—Dylan, Jesse, and Dawson—who love movies and can talk about them for hours. This space is no different. We’re here to dive deep into the films we watch, ramble a bit, laugh a lot, and bring you along for the ride. Each week, we pick a movie, break down what makes it work (or not), and rate it using our custom system—designed to actually explain why a film lands where it does. It’ll probably evolve over time, and we hope you’ll try it out too. We explore everything: fun facts, trivia, goofs, details, what we love, what we can’t stand, and all the reasons behind our opinions. We’re not film experts—not even close. We’re just average movie fans looking for an excuse to watch more films and learn a little along the way. Through this journey, we’ll revisit favorites, discover hidden gems, and finally check off some long‑overdue classics. So grab a snack, get comfortable, and join us on The Flick Files. And fair warning: spoilers are always in play. Make sure to hit that follow button so you can stay caught up with each new conversation. You can also find us on Instagram at @itstheflickfiles. Enjoy the show, you filthy animals!
