A Life With Room to Breathe

In this episode, I'm reflecting on what this new season is asking of me and the kind of life I want to create moving forward. As spring begins, I've been thinking about what I want to release and how I want to move ahead with more intention. I share how the idea of slow living has been resonating, but not quite fully capturing what I need. Instead, I've been drawn to the idea of spacious living. For me, this means creating a rhythm that allows for both movement and pause, where action is balanced with open space to think, feel, and simply be. I reflect on how different environments have shaped my understanding of busyness and how easy it is to fall into patterns that no longer feel aligned. Over time, I've realized that the life I want to build now is not about returning to who I was, but about honoring who I have become. That means letting go of old identities, old habits, and even small pieces of life that no longer feel true. This episode is an invitation to redefine what balance looks like for you. To consider where you might be holding onto a version of yourself that has already shifted, and to explore what it would feel like to create more space in your days, your routines, and your inner world.   Kim Kogane is a writer and intuitive guide helping you navigate the tender in-between seasons of life. Finding Your Creative Shoreline

In this episode, I'm continuing the reflection from last week and sharing what has unfolded as I sat with questions around visibility, creativity, and social media. I talk about a realization that came up for me while trying to grow my online presence. Discomfort is often part of growth, but not all discomfort leads us in the right direction. Sometimes we end up pushing ourselves toward things that feel misaligned simply because we believe they are what we are supposed to do. As I reflected on this, I began to notice that the pressure I felt around social media was pulling me away from the ways I naturally like to create and connect. For me, writing has always been the most authentic form of expression. While the act of writing feels natural, sharing that writing publicly still holds a vulnerable edge, and that is where the real growing edge seems to live. I also share a perspective that helped me reframe how I think about online spaces. Instead of imagining the internet as one large environment, I began to see social media as open water, while the quieter corners of the internet, personal writing, blogs, and intimate creative spaces feel more like the shoreline. This episode is an invitation to consider where your own energy feels most aligned. Growth does not always mean pushing harder into spaces that drain you. Sometimes it means returning to the places where your voice feels most natural and allowing your creativity to meet people there.   Kim Kogane is a writer and intuitive guide helping you navigate the tender in-between seasons of life. Living a Creative Life Offline and Online

In this episode, I'm reflecting on two themes that have been on my mind lately: visibility and creativity. As someone building an online business and sharing creative work publicly, I've been exploring what it means to be visible as a leader while also noticing a growing desire for privacy and time away from social media. Platforms that once felt inspiring and creatively energizing now often feel draining or disconnected, and I've been questioning whether they still serve the purpose they once did. This reflection led me to think more deeply about creativity and what it really means to live a creative life. For me, creativity is less about productivity or performance and more about curiosity, expression, and allowing ideas to unfold naturally. Writing has become one of the primary ways I explore that process. At the same time, creativity often feels most meaningful when it is witnessed. There's something powerful about creating something that matters to you and having another person see it, acknowledge it, and connect with it. When those moments of authentic witnessing feel harder to find online, it can raise questions about where genuine creative communities live today. This episode is an open reflection on the evolving role of social media, the longing for authentic connection, and the search for spaces where creativity can still feel shared and alive. Returning Home to Yourself

In this episode, I'm sharing a collective tarot reading for the month of March. I'm using a four card clarity spread and drawing from the Wild Unknown Tarot and Animal Spirit decks, which have been part of my practice since the beginning of my tarot journey. The overall theme for this month is the Turtle card, which feels grounding, wise, and deeply supportive. This energy invites us to return home to ourselves, to honor the path we have walked, and to trust the wisdom we have gathered along the way. As we move toward spring and the start of a new astrological cycle, there is a sense of renewal and beginning again. Everything you have experienced has shaped you for this moment. The supporting cards, the Ten of Pentacles and the Ten of Cups, speak to abundance, generosity, and fullness. They remind us that there is beauty in both giving and receiving, and that when we tend to our emotional world and our physical life with care, we create a sense of overflow rather than depletion. There is an invitation here to trust your role in your community and to recognize that simply being yourself is a form of service. The Star card anchors the reading with hope and optimism. It encourages us to look up, to soften our grip on certainty, and to allow ourselves to believe in renewal. Even after dark or uncertain seasons, light returns. There is richness in simple pleasures and in the foundational spaces where earth meets water. This month is an invitation to slow down just enough to reconnect with what matters most. Tend to your inner world. Care for your outer life. Trust that your story is meaningful and that your presence carries light, even when you cannot see the impact directly.   Kim Kogane is a writer and intuitive guide helping you navigate the tender in-between seasons of life.
