Great storytelling!

I’ve just listened to both seasons of The Followers and I wish there were more episodes! One of the best religious cult crime type podcasts I’ve heard and I’ve definitely listened to my share. I hope the creators will keep it coming with more stories/seasons!
Beth Karas should...

... stay behind the scenes, doing her excellent research. She does not have the voice talent for podcasts. I've enjoyed listening to all genres of podcasts for many years, even before they became so popular. Having listened to many, many different styles of voices, both male and female, I can honestly say that Beth Karas has the most abrasive, unpleasant voice I've ever heard. That voice takes away from this tragic true story. Please Ms. Karas, step away from the microphone!
Crazy 🤯

This story is probably the craziest cult story I have ever heard apart from that of Jim Jones. The amount of control that this one had. I mean to convince someone to live their own child in freaking Puerto Rico where neither of them had ever been???? What the??? I would love to see this as a series on Netflix or something.
Binge-Worthy

Excellent podcast. I finished it in two afternoons. Compelling story, amazing reporting, and the theme music is on point! (The cherry on top: I did not have to worry about skipping ads.)
Well done. Chilling. Binge worthy!

This podcast is really well done. It is about a black female cult leader who murderers children and it’s so insane that unless it was a true story, I’d never believe it. You don’t hear a lot of cult stories involving people of color, and the story is told with great compassion and humanity for the victims, who have suffered unfathomable trauma.I’ve binged this in a day because I couldn’t put it down.
Best of the best
