In 1973, David Kushner's 11-year-old older brother Jon biked through a suburban Florida forest to buy candy for his little brother, and never returned. Decades later, now an accomplished journalist and author, Kushner investigates his brother’s case and the profound impact it had on his family and community. Piecing together police reports, interviews, and the memories of loved ones––David tells the story of what happened to his family and his town, after his brother disappeared.

Customer Reviews
One of the best podcasts I have ever listened to
I am a prolific podcast listener. I rarely review them because I consume them at such a fast pace and most are fine, and few are incredible. This was one of the best podcasts I have ever listen to. It was simply superb. Thank you.
Unlistenable ads
The book Alligator Candy is moving and even profound but this podcast is made unlistenable by ultra-intrusive and looooong ads.
Amazing
Wow thank you for such a heartfelt and beautiful podcast!
