Elaine and David set the scene for a new season of food podcasts that will have an emphasis on making and baking sourdough at home but will also feature other food and breads of all kinds.

Elaine presents part two of A Lush Irish Christmas as she and David are joined by Cherie Denham and Tracey Toner as they prepare some festive food and swap stories about their childhood memories and traditions of growing up in Northern Ireland. Tracey still lives in Co. Armagh from where she runs her highly successful home-made jams and chutneys business, The Lush Larder. Cherie, originally from Co. Tyrone has just seen the publication of her first book, The Irish Bakery for which she collected and curated all the recipes while continuing to enjoy thousands of followers to her Instagram posts at Cherie Denham Cooks.

Elaine and David visit Yum Bug to learn about the benefits of insects as food and help founders Leo Taylor and Aaron Thomas cook up a couple of delicious recipes using crickets as an alternative to beef. And Sophie Carey returns to prepare ramen noodles in the Matthews Cotswold Flour development kitchen.
