    Episode 3 is finally here to warm you up during the first chilly days of the season, with a 60-minute selection of "Wonky and bleepy techno, straight pumpin' and ghetto bitchy stuff" as our guest himself described it. Based in Lisbon, Portugal, Ricky Miller is probably the mildest persona of an artist much more popular in the European Schranz scene as X-Pose, and sometimes as Estafermus. Ricardo Oliveira has been a steady force in the Portuguese Hard Techno scene for the past 25 years, pushing the boundaries of a sound that could well be defined by the paradigm Hard, Harder, Hardest. Through his digital label Sounds Diabolic Records, X-Pose' sound has extended its reach, releasing next to his own, works from international artists like DJ Ogi, Asin and Shintaro Kanie. A skillful turntablist with a wide musical knowledge and a certain fondness for the darkest sickest soundscapes (regardless of what persona is playing), he is sure to provide a challeging soundtrack even for the die-hardest of any hard dancefloor. For us as Ricky Miller, he has delivered a "softer" groovy mixset, using a pair of Reloop RP400 MK2 turntables and a Reloop Kut Battle Mixer with midi DVS mode, blending analog and digital in a selection that is promised to make you want to drop everything and just dance.     The Garbage Game - Ep.2 - Yakruna

    After a way too long involuntary hiatus, we’re finally back with another guest mix: this time we take a ride away from Techno City to go explore totally different soundscapes - very much in tune with warm and breezy summer evenings. Our guest for this 2nd podcast episode is Amsterdam-based selector Yakruna. The name of an Amazonian plant once used in ceremonial infusions makes the alias of Yuri, a 27-year-old vinyl DJ originally from Veneto, Italy and now based in Amsterdam. With nearly a decade behind the decks, his journey began with two Technics 1210s, a humble two-channel Pioneer mixer, and a deep-rooted love for house and reggae. Since then, his style has evolved through consistent exploration of psychedelic sounds and the underground trance movement across Holland and Belgium. A resident contributor to the Flexy Hauss project for over a year and a half, Yakruna has been steadily expanding the boundaries of his mixing technique and sound palette. His sets are layered narratives that navigate between dubby textures, electro-inflected grooves and trance-tinted rhythms, always anchored in long, flawless blends.     Every first is special and for our podcast premiere, we wanted to start with nonetheless than one for the books. Our guest has been a key presence and a vital part of The Garbage Game, contributing in countless ways to the production of this project since its radio show days - but above all, he’s a prolific and fiercely talented artist with a performing career spanning two decades, backed by a monumental discography. Oliver Kucera, "a man and his machines", is renowned for his live sets, marked by raw intensity and improvisational flair, and for his very own blend of moods and styles so varied to push the boundaries of genre - just like his studio work: his immense catalogue of originals and remixes - on vinyl and digital - includes releases on iconic imprints like Planet Rhythm, Diffuse Reality, and Djax Upbeats, as well as indie and boutique labels, under aliases like OKF and Ancient Artifact. His unparalleled creativity and technical prowess have made their way up to parallel musical realms: marking the beginning of the Punk Electro genre is the brilliant collab with Melatron and Ara_U, already released on Laurent Garnier's label COD3 QR: Modular Punk IS a thing not to miss if you enjoy more than run-of-the-mill sound. Oliver’s most recent project is BTWN NTWRX, a hybrid duo with Delayed Sentence, our show host. The two combine forces jamming with a variety of tools and techniques, whose result didn't stay unnoticed for too long and their debut EP, on Tar Hallow, followed shortly after. This set marks Oliver’s long-overdue solo spotlight on The Garbage Game - his very own Rundown, featuring explosive unreleased material and fresh cuts, mostly from own production and collaborations.
