What God Expects From Your Career (Parable of the Talents)

What does it actually mean to steward your career as a Christian? In this episode, we reflect on the Parable of the Talents from Matthew 25 and what it reveals about responsibility, faithfulness, and the weight of what we’ve been entrusted with. This isn’t just about work or career progression. It’s about stewardship. Everything you have — your skills, your time, your abilities — has been given to you by God. And one day, you will give an account for what you did with it. The question is not how much you’ve been given. The question is what you’ve done with what you have. Are you multiplying it? Or are you burying it? We also explore what it looks like to trust God with your calling, especially in moments where you feel unqualified, uncertain, or not ready — and how Scripture reminds us that we are equipped for what we’ve been called to. If you’ve been thinking more deeply about purpose, work, and how your faith connects to your career, this is a conversation worth sitting with. Scriptures referenced: Matthew 25:14–30, Matthew 6:33, Luke 16:10, Jeremiah 1:5–7 If this episode encourages you, please share it with another engineer or student, leave a rating, and keep building the Kingdom of God through your work. _____________ 📱 LET'S CONNECT → IG → Threads → Substack → Twitter → LinkedIn → Tiktok Email: day@cyberwox.com #christian #christiancontent #cybersecurity #technology #christianinfluencer
