    Elsbeth: Season 3, Episode 17 - High Class Problems

    Kaya is back. KAYA IS BACK. And if this episode is any indication, the show should never let her leave again. In this recap of High Class Problems, Jason and Marissa are practically buzzing from the jump as Detective Block returns to the precinct — and brings all the chemistry, competence, and iconic green coat energy with her. The KayaBeth-and-Nikki trio is fully assembled, and the gang-is-all-here vibes are immaculate. The case? A "wealth therapist" named Dr. Mal (played by the returning Constance Wu) has been cashing in on the secrets of her ultra-rich clients — literally. When one of those clients starts to figure it out, she cuts his motorcycle brake line and watches him crash into the harbor. Classic high class problems. But Elsbeth has a way of noticing things, and Kaya has a way of not letting the easy answer slide. Watching them dismantle Dr. Mal — and do it together — is exactly the show we have been asking for all season.     Elsbeth Season 3, Episode 15 - Otherwise Enraged

    Elsbeth Season 3 Episode 15 Otherwise Enraged has everything we love about this show - a murder most relatable, a pot that tells all its secrets, and Elsbeth doing her best cartoon character impression through a crime scene. When Rachel, a woman who has given everything to her friends and gotten very little in return, finds herself alone at her own inheritance celebration party, things take a very dark turn. Guest star Beanie Feldstein brings real depth to a character you will feel complicated about rooting against. Meanwhile Alec makes his big public apology, Wagner gets squeezed between his daughter and a detective, and Elsbeth drops a Kaya mention that hits harder than it should. Marissa takes over narration duties this week and relates to Rachel perhaps a little more than is comfortable.
