Rodney Harrison deserves a spot in Canton, Ohio
While waiting for Ty Law to call in and recap his time in Canton Ohio at the Football Hall of Fame to celebrate his teammate, the crew debate which Patriot legends have been snubbed enshrinement. Harrison arguably has the best case to be a Hall of Famer, but does he get the lack of benefit of doubt due to playing on some of the most talented football teams to hit the field?
Breaking news strikes mid-show as Courtney announces that the Bruins and Patrice Bergeron have agreed to a one-year $2.5 million deal for the upcoming 2022-'23 season.
Mac Jones will need to take a major step up this season
The issue of Jarren Duran as the starting Center Fielder and Cora sticking with this lineup has the gang scratching their heads. Wiggy is giving the kid some credit since Duran's main position used to be second base. A caller thinks Chaim and Cora are doing this to prepare for Xander's inevitable departure.
Are injuries ever a good excuse? The Red Sox are riddled with them but that doesn't excuse the lack of depth in the roster and bullpen.
Mac Jones stock was soaring going into camp with past Patriots staking 10 to 12 wins on the season. Has the past two weeks disproved this or is step up for the sophomore QB still in the cards?
Looks like Wiggy is finally being rewarded for sticking to his Mac Jones take
The media buzz out of Patriots camp after their second full week is that Mac and the offense might be showing signs of regression from last season. Everyone knew the offense would be the focus of conversation with Bill not hiring an OC, but never did people imagine the QB situation would be hot button issue.
Is it too early to hit the panic button? The crew thinks preseason assessments are fair game.
The vultures are circling on this Red Sox prospect
It was a tough Sunday afternoon for Jarren Duran in the Kansas City sun, but it's nothing compared to what's waiting for him in Boston. Greg Hill and the gang rip into the young ballplayer for his recent antics and comments on and off the field. Does Duran deserve a starting spot on this team or is Cora doing the best with what he has?
Additionally, questions of who's to blame are being taken seriously now with the Red sox sinker lower and lower in the division. Is there even hope for a wild card slot? Or is it time to pack it in for 2022?
Summer Basketball, Joel Embiid's Olympic Dreams, & Bill Russell's Greatness | The Heat Check with Trysta Krick
Joel Embiid wants to play for France, but sadly NBA legends like Evan Fournier & Rudy Gobert don't have the same opinion. Danny Ainge wants all of the Knicks draft picks, but Adam Silver has a different idea. There is also some time spent looking at the life and career of Bill Russell.

Decent show, boomers on Covid
I generally like the show but I find myself turning it off daily because they need to share their boomer point of views on covid, masks, and politics generally. I wouldn’t mind and I can tolerate hearing politics I don’t agree with but there’s not one dissenting voice. All the uninformed mask talk in particular is the worst though. For a network that prides itself on being the radio station of the jimmy fund, you’d think asking for bare minimum medical precautions would be appreciated. Seems hollow to praise nurses and the medical community then take the least caring position for the most vulnerable, like kids with cancer who may be on an airplane for example (today’s topic of discussion). Again I wouldn’t mind because I do understand that POV but there’s not one voice raising those kind of objections. Decent show when they talk sports, life, local community but the political commentary is reminiscent of Dennis and Callahan at its worst (except more uninformed). Miss the days when they had competing political voices - Tomasi, trenni, Ken, etc. As a listener you basically need to pick and choose what segments to listen to if you aren’t an old boomer.
It’s always entertaining. If you like a fun, fairly conservative host keeping certain liberal cohosts at bay then this is your show.
I was a huge fan of the Hill Man Morning Show when it was on WAAF. I listened faithfully. Now I can take it or leave it. I never agree with Greg’s political views, but he was always down to earth…blue collar. Now he’s become too upper class and out of touch. Courtney does nothing for me. She seems like a spoiled, snobby, millennial. I only listen off and on now, when I’m in the mood.
