Experts agree that there are several areas of society that will undergo significant changes. In our third episode, Adapting to the New Normal, The Grey Spaces Podcast explores changes coming our way in areas of trade and commerce, education, the workplace and self sustainability.

In this episode we attempt to answer important questions such as: what are key aspects of our economy, what are the sectors most affected, what is the impact of an economic crisis on mental health, community and society and how do we move on from this. 

In this episode we’ll be talking about slash and burn farming and how it has contributed to an environmental and health hazard that’s been affecting several districts in Belize.  We’ll talk about this farming method’s place in our history and its future possibilities.  We’ll also be talking about the quick response by the government, and how it has had an unintended effect on the livelihoods of some Belizeans.
