Missing Animals Through the Lens of Animal Communication

In this episode, I’m talking about something many people will experience at some point in their lives: Having an animal go missing. Whether it’s a dog who bolts unexpectedly, a cat who never returns home, a horse who gets loose, or an animal who intentionally wanders away, these situations can carry so much fear, urgency, grief, confusion, and uncertainty. I wanted to create this episode because I think there is a lot of curiosity around how Animal Communication can help in situations where animals are missing, but also a lot of misunderstanding around what this work is, what it can offer, and what its limitations are. In this conversation, I share my perspective and experiences working with missing animals, including the different reasons animals may go missing, the types of information that can sometimes come through in these sessions, and why every communicator will experience this work differently. I also talk about the emotional intensity that can exist within these cases, both for the guardians and for the communicator. We also explore some of the harder conversations around missing animals, including animals who don’t want to be found, animals who intentionally leave to transition, and why Animal Communication is never about forcing an animal to come home or override their sovereignty. This episode is honest, nuanced, and deeply compassionate toward both the humans and animals navigating these experiences. Whether you have personally experienced a missing animal situation, are curious about this side of Animal Communication, or simply want to better understand the complexity behind these cases, I hope this conversation brings perspective, support, and understanding. . How to Navigate an Animal's Unrealistic Requests

In this episode, I am talking about something that I think many animal guardians, and people exploring animal communication, quietly navigate but don’t always talk openly about… What happens when animals ask for things that feel unrealistic, unattainable, or simply impossible for us to provide? As much as we may want to meet all of our animals’ needs all of the time, the reality is that life is more complex than that. Sometimes animals ask for things that aren’t logistically possible, financially accessible, aligned with their wellbeing, or realistic within the human world they are living in. In this conversation, I explore why this happens, how animals perceive possibility differently than humans do, and the importance of understanding that animals, just like people, can ask for things they want that may not actually be supportive or achievable for them. I also talk about the nuance between literal and symbolic communication, how some requests are connected to deeper emotional or physical needs, and the importance of not automatically perceiving yourself as failing your animal simply because you cannot give them everything they ask for. Throughout the episode, I share real examples from my own experiences and client sessions, including animals asking for impossible environmental changes, different living situations, specific foods, relief from pain, additional companionship, and more. This episode is really about holding compassion for both the animal and the human in the relationship, while recognizing that supporting our animals often requires navigating the space between what is desired, what is realistic, and what is truly aligned. . Expanding Your Capacity to Receive

In this episode, I am diving into something that comes up constantly in my work as a teacher and mentor: Expanding your capacity to receive and raising your energetic minimum. This is one of the biggest areas I support people through as they begin developing animal communication, intuitive abilities, energy work, or any kind of spiritual practice. So often, people want to strengthen their gifts or receive more clearly, but what they don’t always realize is that our systems also need the capacity to hold and sustain that level of connection. I talk about what it actually means to raise your energetic minimum, why intuitive work can sometimes feel exhausting or overwhelming when you are first learning, and how developing these abilities is much more like building endurance and strength than people often expect. I also share personal experiences from my own practice, including what happened when I took time away from sessions and how even now, after years of doing this work professionally, I still have to be mindful of my energetic capacity and what my system can sustainably hold. This episode is really about giving yourself permission to grow at your own pace, understanding that development takes practice and patience, and recognizing that where you are right now may actually be perfectly aligned with what your system is currently able to support. If you are someone developing your intuition, learning animal communication, exploring spiritual work, or simply wanting to understand why receiving can sometimes feel difficult or draining, this episode will offer both perspective and encouragement for the journey. . Relationships That Stretch Us: A Journey with Rosie - with Jennifer Woolwine

In this episode, I am joined by Jennifer Woolwine for a deeply honest conversation about navigating one of the harder, more complex relationships we can have with our animals. Together, we talk about Jennifer’s journey with her dog Rosie. A relationship that has stretched, challenged, and transformed her in ways she never expected. From moments of deep connection to moments of doubt, overwhelm, guilt, and questioning whether she was truly the “right” home for Rosie, this conversation opens the door to experiences that many animal guardians quietly navigate but rarely speak about openly. We explore the emotional reality of living alongside an animal who pushes your edges, the shame that can arise when a relationship with an animal doesn’t feel easy, and the importance of support, honesty, and patience throughout the process. My hope is that this conversation helps listeners feel less alone, while also creating more space for the truth that relationships with animals (just like relationships with humans) can sometimes be deeply loving and deeply challenging at the same time. I'm Jen. Farm mama to 50+ rescue animals, wife of 21 years to my best friend + fellow shit scooper, a recently-discovered- Animal-Communicator, Intuitive Guide, and co-creator of The Sacred Space Between. I spend most of my days with my animals—listening, learning, caring for them and experiencing the beautiful connection that’s possible when we FINALLY slow down enough to really listen. If you would have told me 5 years ago, hell 2 years ago, after several failed businesses that I would be a professional animal communicator that now mentors and teaches others how to do it with their own animals, I probably would have laughed in your face, but here we are. Funny how life works out.  . Connect with Jennifer Woolwine:  Website: www.thesacredspacebetween.com Instagram @thesacredspacebetween  . The Unexpected Ways This Work Changed My Life

In this episode, I am reflecting on the ways that animal communication has shaped who I am, changed my perspectives, and influenced the way I move through life. When I first found this work, I knew very little about energy, intuition, or the metaphysical world. Animal communication was simply something I was curious about exploring, but over the years, it has become so much more than just connecting with animals. It has completely shifted my perspective on life, relationships, transitions, intuition, nature, and even myself. Through this work, the animals have taught me about neutrality, relationships, trust, and the many different ways beings move through life and experience the world. They have expanded my understanding of things I never imagined I would one day speak about, including transitions, soul contracts, and the Akashic Records. They have also challenged me to soften old perspectives, move beyond black-and-white thinking, and become more aware of the way humans interact with the world around us. This episode is a more personal reflection on the journey that animal communication has taken me on, the lessons the animals have shared with me along the way, and the ways this work continues to shape me both personally and professionally. My hope is that this conversation also invites you to reflect on how your own animals may have changed you, influenced your perspective, or guided your growth in ways you may not have fully recognized before. . The Pressure to Perform

In this episode, I’m talking about something that so many people experience in life, but especially within intuitive and spiritual work: the pressure to perform. Through the lens of Animal Communication, I explore what it feels like to carry expectations into our sessions, our businesses, our visibility, and even our relationships with ourselves. The pressure to “get it right,” to prove ourselves, to give enough, to be enough, or to make sure every experience feels meaningful and impactful. We dive into how this can show up differently for each of us. From perfectionism and overgiving, to fear of failure, burnout, procrastination, self-doubt, and even resentment toward work we genuinely love. I also talk about the importance of recognizing where this pressure comes from, whether it’s internal expectations we place on ourselves or external expectations from clients, social media, mentors, or the industry as a whole. This episode is about building awareness, understanding our own patterns, and learning how to stay connected to ourselves within the experience of them. Because while some level of care and responsibility can support integrity within this work, the pressure to perform should never become the thing leading it. A grounded, honest conversation for intuitive practitioners, animal communicators, and honestly… anyone who has ever felt the weight of expectations. .
