About Susannah Alexander Susannah Alexander founded ‘No Drama Nutrition’ to challenge the accepted norms and the hyperbole that pervades some areas of the wellness industry.  She champions plus size people who’ve been body shamed by health professionals, giving them the confidence, knowledge and vocabulary to understand their bodies better and advocate for their health on their terms. As a lifelong depression sufferer, she is passionate about the connection between food and mood, and enables those living with depression to use food to support their mental health.  Taking the drama out of healthy eating starts early, so Susannah founded ‘Kids in the Kitchen’, her fun online cookery club for children.  ***************** * Guest Details* ***************** Susannah Alexander She has created a fun and supportive Facebook group for chatting about all things food and nutrition-related and invites you to join her there https://www.facebook.com/groups/nutritionkitchen/. While being close to your child is appealing, there's a fine line between building a healthy, trusting relationship and losing sight of your role as a parent. 5. S2 E15 - Understanding Differences: Why HRT Isn't Suitable for Everyone

S2 E15 - Understanding Differences: Why HRT Isn't Suitable for Everyone

In this enlightening episode, we will discuss the complexities of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and explore why it might not be the best option for every woman experiencing menopause. While HRT can offer relief from menopausal symptoms, it comes with its own set considerations that make it unsuitable for some.   About Hannah Charman Hannah first became interested in alternative medicine when she used it to recover from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome in her early teens. She graduated from Middlesex University with an honours degree in Western Herbal Medicine in 1999 and has been a practising medical herbalist ever since. Hannah now specialises in helping cancer survivors who’d prefer a natural route through menopause, combining herbal medicine with health coaching and/or hypnotherapy into tailor made treatment programmes. Hannah lives in Shropshire with her family, and loves swimming, gardening and walking in her spare time. Menopause can be a really challenging time for women, and for some, HRT doesn’t feel like the best way forward. Hannah offers a natural way through menopause, where she addresses the psycho-emotional aspects of each patient’s symptoms as well as the physical ones. Each woman starts with a treatment programme tailored to her needs, blending personalised herbal medicines with health coaching to get the basics of good health in place. Some women also choose to use advanced hypnotherapy to free themselves from any limiting beliefs which are holding them back. ***************** * Guest Details* ***************** Hannah Charman LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/hannah-charman-91b43551/ Physic Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/PhysicHealthConsulting Free Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1032853967316418 YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHIBDwKWyFzZglbHHIFukDg Instagram: Hannah Charman (@physichealthconsulting)  Support the show
