The hardest part is a podcast about the hardest part of things. I talk to people about the hardest part of something they've experienced: like training for a half marathon, having cancer as a teenager or photographing naked men. And then I edit our conversation down into an episode short enough that you can listen to the whole thing over a single cup of coffee.

The answer to things you've always wondered
I'm loving this podcast! Not only is it short and sweet (a relief!) but it gives you an interesting window into things you've probably passively wondered and never bothered to find out, such as, What would it be like to leave a religion? What is the vibe on an artist nude photo shoot? Highly recommend.
High interest but not too much time.
Everyday conversations with interesting people—like getting to know a new friend with every listen. Hazel is upbeat, warm, and asks just enough to reveal the personalities of her interviewees. Perfect for a quick break.
Cool little stories
I love the glimpse into other people’s worlds and problems I get with each episode. It really is the perfect “over a cup of coffee” podcast. The variety is ideal too—can’t wait to hear the next one.
