    23. Loving yourself, compassion, surrender: Teachings from ayahuasca

    23. Loving yourself, compassion, surrender: Teachings from ayahuasca

In this episode I sit down with my cousin and previous podcast guest, Max, to discuss my recent ayahuasca retreat.
I rank this in my top four most powerful, transformative experiences thus far.
It was also one of my worst experiences at one point. I share what happened there, why it happened and the wisdom gained.
We discuss true self love, compassion, parenting, mantras, belief systems, stories, asking for help, surrender, and all kinds of great stuff.
I hope my medicine brings you medicine and you enjoy the share.

    21. On being human - from suicidal to loving life with Dylan Olsen

Dylan is a natural-born rebel who honors the human spirit by defying the societal status quo. A teacher to many and a student of all, he uses his creative talents to connect with others on a visceral level and transcend the conventional human experience. We chat about:
    - Some of his core wounds and limiting beliefs
    - Tools and tactics to overcome our challenges
    - How being an empath has affected his journey
    - How to make change from the inside out
    - Dylan’s gift from a prostitute
    - Why empaths need to be careful about identifying as an empath
    - My recent powerful and seemingly traumatic mushroom journey
    - Two of my main takeaways from this experience
    - What is your true authentic self?
    - The Madman archetype
    - Some discussion on being human
    - Are you taking things too seriously?
    - Neutralizing unwanted thoughts
    - and much more

Darleelo ,

I feel like I’m listening in on great conversations with friends!

There are very few podcasts that I can listen to so I’m stoked when I find one that I love. The reason for this is, even if I’m interested in the topic or the person being interviewed, if the host talks more than the guest, talks over the guest or asks really generic questions with bland feedback- I’m bored.

Mike is truly the opposite and his podcast is on regular rotation now. His conversations with guests are really engaging, they have a healthy balance of back and forth, he asks great questions and personally relates to the guest in a way which creates a really unique conversation. He’s eloquent when in conversation or even on his solo episodes, almost like he’s just channeling naturally. Or maybe he is!

Highly recommend if your are interested in all things healing and empowered yourself as a sensitive soul in a human body.

Thanks for a great podcast Mike!
