Hempcrete Design and Manufacturing with Ana and Drew from CoExist Build

Ana and Drew have taken their knowledge and expertise in the building space into the use of hempcrete as a healthy building alternative. CoExist Build is an architectural design organization that not only designs healthy hempcrete homes, but also manufactures hemp building products and grows hemp for research purposes. In addition, Ana and Drew have multiple hempcrete structures they have built on their property as research tools. These two are passionate about building with hemp and the overall health benefits it provides to our individual self and the environment. We discuss how traditional building materials contribute to many of the toxic waste in our country and how building with hemp can help reduce this problem we're currently facing in the construction world. CoExist Build has great offerings in hemp building materials. They are the first to manufacture and distribute pre-made hemp blocks that are available for purchase through their website. In addition, they have just released their new product - DIY Hemp Kits. An entire kit with all you need to build a small hempcrete structure on your property is available through their website. The hope is to give others the opportunity to easily build their own hempcrete structure on their property and experience all of the benefits of a hempcrete home. The DIY kits are their newest offering and a truly exciting product now on the market in the US. In addition to hemp blocks and DIY kits, CoExist offers hemp insulation. What better way to ditch the fiberglass insulation than with hemp insulation. Ana and Drew are a perfect team that bring so much knowledge to building with hemp. They are a great resource for anyone looking for hemp building supplies or to have their new structure designed. They are focusing on research to provide the best building materials here in the USA. Hemp and Medical Cannabis Consulting, Research, Development, Industry Awareness and Growth with Michael Patterson

Michael Patterson of MGMC Pharma Group and Cannabis Pharmaceutical Research and Development shares a vast amount of knowledge about the industry, where it's headed both domestically and internationally, how this industry differs from others, how to get started, and the importance of using LinkedIn as a business growth tool. The hemp/cannabis industry is in it's infancy therefore has a massive amount of space for growth, innovation and development. Now is the time for those to get in on the ground floor. Michael discusses the different aspects of the industry, he understands licensing laws of all of the states and multiple different countries, he knows the cost to get into different parts of the industry and how to poise yourself for growth. Michael has spent many years researching the cannabis and hemp market. He is in the process of developing one of the largest research and development centers in Florida that partners with universities to develop educational programs for students and focuses on all aspects of the industry, how to grow the industry and produce the science and data that is lacking in the industry. One big challenge in the industry is that there is not any communication between differing sectors both domestically and abroad. So there is a lack of data to help entrepreneurs or scientists develop data driven programs. Michael's new facility will help bridge this gap. Michael discusses that the US is the entrepreneurship capital of the world and that many countries follow the growth of US industries. With the cannabis and hemp industries being in their infancy in the US, the growth of the industry abroad has not happened in a way to provide the much needed data to help push the industry forward. In addition to industry trends for this space, Michael discusses the impact banking has had, 3D printed homes, the length of time it takes an industry to truly get started and what he's seeing with the new entrepreneurs in the space. Lastly, Michael has started a new podcast called the Cannabis Report. Michael and his brother discuss the current events in the industry, interview leaders in the industry, and highlight individuals and organizations that are stars in the space. This podcast is extremely educational and is a must listen. There are great nuggets of information in each of his episodes that could provide education to anyone that tunes in.
